Mola will test streaming service for JCC (Japan Culture Channel) in July 2008 and is planning to commence the commercial operation from October 1,2008.
Mola will tie up with a Non Profit Organization JAVC (Japan Arts Video Center) and distribute the Art Channels owned by JAVC mainly and, in addition thereto, such documentary Channels, animations and the Educational Channels as introducing the history, Culture, Arts and performing Arts of Japan. The possible subscribers of these services will be the Japanese people living abroad and other foreign peoples loving Japanese Arts and/or Cultures.
To take up this project, Mola will line up affordable but high technology based systems for enabling it to distribute, as the pioneer of this field of job, the necessary information in timely fashion and appropriately to overseas. |
